During the cold and snow filled days of last winter, the staff of Kings Way Care Centre were putting their heads together to come up with an event that would bring much fun and excitement to the Residents and staff as well as friends and family from the community; all while raising funds for a Resident garden and summer gardening projects. At the suggestion of a staff member it was decided that a Walk-a-thon, combined with a summer fair would be the perfect event, and on June 13^th 2009 it was nothing less than perfect.
